The 9th Annual Steps2Cure NF Walk - Camden NY:
Takes place at 1:30pm on Saturday, May 14 and will be held at Forest Park in Camden, NY. Registration will begin at 12:00pm. Participants will enjoy a scenic 2.3 mile walk through the beautiful forest with post-walk raffles, refreshments, and a celebration for the highest fundraising team! Friendly dogs are welcome.

Each registrant will receive a Steps2Cure NF T-Shirt and must be registered by April 20th to be guaranteed a shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraising adult and top fundraising child.

What is NF?
Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a disorder of the nervous system that causes tumors to form on the nerves anywhere on the body at any time. NF affects all races, all ethnic groups and both sexes equally. It is always genetic, whether it is a spontaneous event or passed down from a parent. NF affects more people than Cystic Fibrosis and Muscular Dystrophy combined, and may be associated with deafness, vision impairment, epilepsy, learning disabilities, bone abnormalities, and cancer. Many people have not heard of Neurofibromatosis. You can help “Spread the word about NF”! Please come out and help us keep the hope alive for the 1.5 million people faced with NF. Our mission is to find a treatment and cure for neurofibromatosis by promoting scientific research, creating awareness, and supporting those who are affected by NF.
